Transoesophageal echocardiogram. Interrogation of the inter-atrial septum was performed in diastole and systole using various windows, including at 0-15°, 30-60° and 90-120°. There was no evidence of any inter-atrial septal defect seen. 3D reconstruction of the inter-atrial septum did not reveal the presence of any defects.
